"I come from an art background and I still learned a lot about art...and the sales side was mind-blowing. Pretty much everything I learned here could be used elsewhere. In fact, I'm amazed at the enormous amount of intellectual property that was shared here. It was wonderful, it was really surprising. I think it is the sort of thing that will continue for the rest of your life. You could do any kind of sales job. I think a lot of it could be used for running your own company. The enormity of what I learned...any one day could have been an entire sales training.

Ship-life suits me down to a 't' - I love it. The ship is beautiful and full of amazing things, the people all greet each other with a smile, the ocean is as blue as a dream and the breeze whispers in one's ears when you walk on the deck. In the crew area I can hear Thai and Indonesian and Spanish and laughing and singing. It is amazing to have made so many friends in so few days, not to mention knowing so many passengers by name . . .

I learned an enormous amount at the Park West training, much of which will be useful whatever course one plots in life, and which is already standing me in good stead. The mix of techniques, practical examples, theory and practice provided a good balance. It was also good to meet so many interesting people from such a variety of backgrounds and nationalities.
